Innis Maggiore Group Marks Strong Year of Growth in 1997

CANTON, Ohio (February 26, 1998) - Innis Maggiore Group enjoyed a 47 percent increase in billings last year and expects more growth in the year ahead.

Innis Maggiore, a Canton-based advertising and public relations firm, entered 1998 with a strong roster of clients and a broader slate of capabilities.

"We are in an excellent position now to drive up both the quality and volume of our work," said Dick Maggiore, president of Innis Maggiore. "We are encouraged by the improving performance of the economy in general and of our clients in particular."

Capitalized billings for 1997 reached $6.6 million, up 47 percent from 1996 levels, Maggiore said. He expects that to grow further in 1998.

Among the new clients Innis Maggiore began serving in 1997 are Smithers-Oasis, U.S.A., based in Kent; Camelot Music, based in North Canton; Preferred Rubber Compounding Corp., based in Barberton; Cornwell Quality Tools, based in Mogadore; and Hall Kistler & Co., based in Canton.

To lay the groundwork for additional expansion, Innis Maggiore expanded its public relations and production capabilities in the past year.

The agency also remodeled the upper floor of its two-story office building at 2833 Cleveland Ave., N.W., and prepared for additional renovations to its lower floor during 1998.

Innis Maggiore Group employs 15 individuals, compared to 12 in early 1997. It offers a full range of advertising and public relations services to a variety of regional and national companies.
