The donation is the second of that amount since 2006.

Earnings from the Innis Maggiore Endowed Scholarship for Communications are intended to help local students with the expenses incurred while getting their education.

A minimum 2.5 G.P.A. is necessary to qualify. To apply, students are required to write an essay about why they have chosen their major and how they will positively contribute to the field.
